We are looking for a Director of Footwear Merchandising in our Footwear department to help us provide merchandising leadership to the Etnies, éS, 32, and Emerica Product Managers. You'll act as a merchandising expert in men’s, women’s, & kid’s product across all brands. A key function will be ensuring the continued design, merchandising, and technical innovation in footwear across all brands and safeguarding the differentiation that makes all Sole Technology brands unique and viable. You’ll share the responsibility with the Design Group Manager and Product Managers to analyze product, consumer and competitive trends in the action sports market as it applies to footwear. You’ll also maintain an expert-level understanding of the product, delivery and pricing needs of consumers, key markets and channels. You will work closely with the VP of footwear to make key strategy decisions as it applies to all brands, whether it is budget, organizational planning, general procedure & process, and overall management of the footwear team. In addition, you'll act as the key liaison between the product and the executive group and attend all design reviews and sales, employee and integrated marketing meetings.
